How to Care for Your Cowhide Bag
Our cowhide bags are surprisingly low maintenance. The hides are naturally robust and don’t absorb dirt easily, so if yours gets a little muddy, just wait for it to dry and give it a gentle shake. For spills, blot with a dry cloth or paper towel.

My Zulu cow slung bag is fabulous. Very well made, and I’m picky, fits everything I need and is v comfy. Everyone compliments this bag, but it’s mine! They can buy their own because it’s a keeper that’ll go down to my daughters to fight over.

Finally treated myself to this saddle bags after looking at them longingly for weeks and weeks, and i am so glad i did. This saddle bag is beautiful. The colour is beautiful, exactly as shown in the pictures on the website, the leather is beyond soft, the bag is the perfect size to get everything in, and the strap is perfect, soft yet strong, and just the right width. The quality of the stitching, the lining, everything is perfect. Also, excellent customer service from Lucy, and i will buy again from this company.

Zulucow sells many wonderful things and this fabulous sling bag is my latest in a long line of purchases. I received it yesterday - beautifully packed and with a hand written note - and I couldn't be more delighted. The quality is exceptional and the bag is incredibly stylish. I actually bought it for an upcoming holiday to Morocco but I couldn't resist starting to use it straight away! My experience of the other bags I own is that they age beautifully as the quality of the leather is wonderful. The fur is wipe clean too, meaning spills can just be blotted off. This is the perfect size everyday bag in my opinion, and it's deceptively spacious! I have had some lovely compliments already - and my 19 year old is most impressed and thinks it's incredibly cool. Some very high end designers are now using cowhide for some of their bags, so I think the Zulucow price point is really good value. Lucy is so helpful too, the whole experience is great from start to finish. Thank you Lucy - I'll be back!
